The βprison of lifeβ is what the Green Cloaks call their hanging gardens, which are constructed from living walls. From afar it looks so peaceful, but inside these walls true horror is caught, which only becomes apparent when approaching. The Green Cloaks name the whole of the deep woods their home, but there is one region inside, deeper and darker yet, which is the epicentre of their governance. It is there where they oversee a labyrinth of dirt and roots, a network of decaying walls and dark damp caverns. In this dungeon they hold their enemies prisoner, inside living digesting walls.
Caught, accused, and convicted to quickly rot and fertilise the soil, that is a sign of mercy in this place. Those accused of the most egregious crimes; generational crimes, industrial crimes; they are condemned to stay for eternity. While roots bind them they are constantly nourished by sustaining symbiotic organisms, sentenced to witness the forest around them blossom, with their senses intact while their sanity evaporates. This is a place where the walls truly have eyes and ears.
