These giant mystical birds, birthed from the wild life megabloom, can only be found in the deep woods. They are masters in Forest Sight and Forest Blending, and adept at navigating the dark and narrow corridors of their habitat. When trekking through the gloomy forest, you can be sure that at least a hand full of camouflaged moss ravens always have their eyes on you.
Encountering one of these elusive creatures is seen as a sign of fortune, but can also lead to much ridicule. It provides the rare opportunity to find a trusted companion or be mocked for life by its flock. To bond with a moss raven you must approach it with respect and then solve one of its obscure riddles. If you have proven character and intelligence the moss raven will call you friend, and offers to carry you and your equipment on its back through the forest. This significantly alleviates any further exploration and adventuring in the deep woods.
